 We, Oct 10, 2007Swimming Success!
We are delighted to report that Raphael had a tremendously successful day at the ISA Swimming Gala on Tuesday 9th October. Mr Sintmaartensdyk accompanied a small group of 5 swimmers to Fulwell Cross pool and their excellent results speak for themselves. James Walker came 1st in both his heats for Under 11 Breaststroke & Freestyle. Elise Dellow came 1st in her heat for the under 11 Backstroke and managed a magnificent 4th in the under 12 Freestyle where she competed against children a year older. Jack Gross came 1st in the Under 13/14 Butterfly and 2nd in the Under 13 Front Crawl. Kersten Rothnie came 1st in the under 16 Butterfly and 2nd in the Under 16 Backstroke. Emma Maddox came 3rd in both the Under 16 Breaststroke and Front Crawl. A big congratulations to all our swimmers and thanks to Mrs Gilbert and Mrs Ahmet for providing transport. A wonderful day was had by all. |
