Friday 29th February

DEAR PARENTS
Just 3 weeks to go until the end of term – a very early Easter for us all this year!  We have had a relatively quiet fortnight, but a very busy time ahead of us.

PHOTOGRAPHER
We have a new school photographer, Braiswick Ltd, and one of their staff visited school last week to take a series of photos for a large montage board.  We are currently awaiting the proofs for approval.

WOODLAND TRUST
J3-6 spent a really enjoyable afternoon at Theydon Bois, planting trees on behalf of the Woodland Trust.  The educators there also introduced them to several environmental issues.  There are photographs and a report of the day available on our website.

CAREERS
Adrian Cutter (Careers Advisor) has continued his work with S9.  He will be visiting them and S8 again later in the term.

SENIOR CHARITY
The “Wacky Ties and Tights Day” and the Teachers’ Quiz raised a magnificent £180 for the Little Havens Childrens’ Hospice, bringing the total raised so far to £450.  Well done everyone!

PRIMARY CHARITY
The Primary department are holding their Charity Day on Friday 14th March.  Mrs. Howland has already sent out a detailed letter – just to remind you that the pupils need to bring their donations in for their various stalls, especially their “Rainbow” stall.  Please see the class teachers for any further information.
